MRS. VIOLET LOCKHART
Funeral services for Mrs. Violet Lockhart, 68, of 4901 2d Av., who died yesterday morning in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital after a long illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Franklin and Son Memorial Chapel.
The Rev. H. E. Bailey will officiate with burial to be in Antioch Cemetery, Wirt county.
Born in Wirt county, she was a daughter of the late Wirt and Amelia Courtney Lockhart. She was a former resident of Linn Camp, Wirt county, but had made her home in Parkersburg for the last 40 years. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Denver Lockhart of Parkersburg; one daughter, Mrs. Ava Gay Stephens of Elizabeth, Rt. 3; two brothers, Lawrence Lockhart of Mineral Wells and Guy of Pakrersburg; six sisters, Mrs. Bertha McCoy, Mrs. Inez Gant and Mrs. Eula Sims, all of Parkersburg, Rt 4., Mrs Clara Green of Annapolis Md., Mrs. Ruby McCoy and Mrs. Orma Hendershot, both of Parkersburg, one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, who died in June o flast year, and one sister.
