Bobby Dean Blackley passed away on the morning of December 24, 2003 after a long and courageous battle with encephalitis.

Bob was born on January 22, 1936 in Heber City to Don and LaRue Blackley. He attended school in Provo and college at Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. He then served in the 101st Airborne before he married and was sealed to his first wife Betty Milne in the Salt Lake Temple. While he was married to Betty he was a representative for Singer Sewing Co. and McUllogh Oil. After Betty's death Bob and his two friends; Des Townsend and Glen Hatch founded Camperworld in 1975. He later married Jo Ann Neff for time in the Salt Lake Temple in 1978.

Bob is survived by his wife Jo Ann, son, Beau; three daughters, Shannon, Mindy and Libbie; two brothers, Thurman and Duane Blackley and one sister Nina Gregg.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Little Cottonwood 16th Ward, 6350 S. Rodeo Lane. Friends and family may call on Saturday two hours before the service. Interment will be at Murray City Cemetery.
