Native of Union Co.; son of the late Frank Arthur and Dora Dunlap Johnson; member of Duncan Acres United Methodist Church; Rutledge Masonic Lodge 351 and Hejaz Shrine Temple; retired from United Merchants Co.; first married to the late Willie Mae Thompson Johnson. Surviving; daughter Sandra Anne Johnson of Huntersville, NC; sons, Carroll Johnson of Orlando, Fl., James Melton Johnson of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Jesse Merle Camp of Danville, Va., Annie Ruth Fowler and Sarah Medford of Union; brothers, James A. Johnson and Henry D. Johnson of Union; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services 3 today at Duncan Acres United Methodist Church by the Revs. Joe Stowell and Bobby Crocker; burial in Rosemont Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at S.R.
