Bernice was a resident of Bethany for over 60 years and was living in Mustang where she was active in the Lakehoma Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady, in 1979. Survivors include 5 sons, Grant of Mustang, Leroy of Crescent, Jay of Piedmont, Don of OKC, and Mike of Mustang; 2 sisters, Florence Anding of Covington, La. and LaDonna Morris of Phoenix; 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
