Mrs. Sam Fox Dies, Interment At Zion Hill
Mrs. Mary Peters Fox, widow of the late Sam Fox of Winnfield, died Sunday,
January 5, 1969 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Fox, a member of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church, was the sister of the
late Horace Peters and Ben Peters, both of Winnfield.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Southern Funeral Home
chapel with Rev. C. C. Martin and Eugene Love officiating. Interment, under
the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, was in the Zion Hill
Cemetery.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Johnnie Wilkins of Modesto, California; one
brother, Newt Peters of DeRidder; six grandchildren and 21 great
grandchildren.
