Survived by son Charles Hayes of Hayden, daughters Elsie Bullock of St. James, Ruth Jones of Vienna, and Lucille Martin of Hayden. Preceded in death by husband Walter Hayes, and sons Ray, Sam, Homer, Clifford, and infant Page. Also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Married Walter E. Hayes on 11/20/1892. He preceded her in death on 4/2/1938.
Helped care for her own siblings because her mother died when she was young, and then after raising her own family, helped care for her son Sam's family (Hursel, Harold, Stanley, Nadine, and Jim) because Sam's wife, Nora, passed away during childbirth.
Funeral held at Kenner Church of God in Hayden. (Almost all of Mrs. Hayes' younger deceased relatives are buried at Kenner Cemetery in Maries County, Mo. To my knowledge, she was the last person to have been buried at this cemetery. Also, her Infant son Page is listed on the findagrave record as being named Pagel Hayes. His name was Page L. Hayes.
