TYLER MATTHEW HAMMER (SPRIGGS)

Oct 4, 1985 - Sept 26, 1994

''When I Get Really Tired,
Then I'll Go Live With Jesus''

Today I finally got tired and left this earth to live with my ''Best Friend'' Jesus, and some of my other friends,

Haylie, Chance, Eugene and my Aunt Mary. I have lived a lot of life during my 9 years. I met a lot of people that I loved and was loved back. I always tried to have a smile for everyone. Even when I was being poked and didn't feel too well, I tried not to complain. I tried to laugh and smile, I knew they were all trying to help me. I have spent the last 7 years educating the public about my illness. I was able to visit with thousands, from kindergarten to first year med students. I traveled from Idaho to Cedar City. I was happy to be able to do a couple of commercials with Thurl Bailey for Buff's and Puffs and The Make A Wish Foundation.

I was blessed with two families. My birthmother and stepfather, RaNae and James Nieto, sisters, Justina Glaskar and Andrea Nieto. My parents, Mick and Carolyn Spriggs, sister, Stephanie, and brothers, Eric and Alan. I left on this earth many aunts, uncles and cousins whom I have loved and who have loved me in return.

All my love and thanks to Dr. Laurie Hilyer (who let me call her Dr. Laurie). Tom and Carly, thank you for sharing her with me. Dr. Laurie made my diagnosis during her residency and continued to love and care for me until my final departure into God's arms. Also my love and thanks goes to my special friend, Jan Duehlmeier and the IV Therapy staff at Primary's, Diane and David. And here is a special smile for Kim Barb and all those who helped me make a special trip to Disneyland, my favorite place. To all my friends and staff at Midvalley Elementary, thank you for being there for me so I could go to school. I was always welcomed with open arms.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in my name to Garfield Credit Union, c/o Rulene Montgomery, 6290 So. Redwood Rd., Murray, UT 84123.

THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE LOVED AND SUPPORTED TYLER AND HIS FAMILY.

Services will be held at the Sandy West Stake Center, 8650 So. 220 East, Thursday, 1 p.m. Interment: Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Rd.
