Mrs. Cecil Allender Dies at 79
NASHVILLE - Mrs. Ruth Allender, 79, former Brown county resident who had made her home recently at Bloomington route 12, died today at the Bloomington hospital. Mrs. Allender had been in ill health for four years.
A native of Brown county, Mrs. Allender was born March 21, 1892, the daughter of Herman and Molly Parker Snyder. She was married to Cecil Allender June 9, 1911, at Brown county. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Glen Allender of Indianapolis, George Allender of Florida, and Bobby Allender of Bloomington route 2; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Kirts and Mrs. Beryl Deckard, both of Florida, Mrs. Mable Tucker and Mrs. Dolly Wodtke, both of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Irene Schroeder of Bloomington; a brother, Frank Snyder of Columbus; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Bay and Mrs. Jewell Wilson, both of Helmsburg; and 22 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bond funeral home by the Rev. William Bradley. Persons may call after 6 o'clock tonight. Burial will be at Bean Blossom cemetery.

RUTH ALLENDER
Funeral services will be tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. at the Bond Funeral Home for Mrs. Ruth Allender of Route 12, Bloomington. She died Tuesday morning after an illness of four years. Rev. William Bradley will officiate at the funeral and burial will be in the Bean Blossom Cemetery.
She was born in Brown County March 21, 1892 to Herman and Molly Parker Snyder. June 9, 1911 she married Cecil Allender, who survives. She was a member of the Pentecostal church. They lived in Brown County, Florida, and Monroe County. They had four sons and five daughters.
Survivors include three sons, Glen of Indianapolis; George of Florida; and Bobby of Bloomington; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Kirts, and Mrs. Beryl Deckard, Florida; Mrs. Mable Tucker and Mrs. Dolly Wodtke, Indianapolis; and Mrs. Irene Schroeder, Route 12, Bloomington.
A brother, Frank Snyder of Columbus, and two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Bay and Mrs. Jewell Wilson of Helmsburg; 22 grandchilden and several great-grandchildren, also survive.
