Andrew C. Fresquez, 80, of Roswell and formerly of Picacho, NM, passed away April 3,1995, at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Mass was celebrated April 8,1995, at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial followed at South Park Cemetery. Andrew was born Feb. 2, 1915,in Glencoe, NM, to Lutario and Teresita (Pineda) Fresquez. Both preceded him in death as well as one brother, Richard and one sister, Ophelia Pacheco. On March 21. 1942, Andrew married the former Orlidia Brady in Carrizozo, NM. She survives him at the family home. Mr. Fresquez was a lifelong rancher in Lincoln County. After relocating to Roswell, he continued his Picacho ranch operation.Other survivors include son Andy Fresquez of Roswell; daughters Delia J. Neria and her husband Fidel of Roswell, Joyce Strupp and her husband John of Franklin, WI., and Roberta Rousseau of Albuquerque; brother Dick Fresquez; sister Elma Rogers; six grandchildren: Stacy Sheehand and husband Neil, Jill M. Strupp, Kristen J. Neria, Stephen Eric Neria, Jeff O. Neria and Paul M. Rousseau;one great-granddaughter Allyssa Rousseau.
