Ophelia Fresquez Pacheco, 84, formerly of Roswell,N.M., passed away in Salem, Ore. She was born in Picacho, N.M.,to Lutario and Teresa Fresquez on Aug. 31. 1907. She married Efren Pacheco in 1924. in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Arabela, N.M. He died in 1955. She was a homemaker. Just 18 months ago, she went to Keizer,Ore., and joined St. Edward's Catholic Church. Her time here was spent with the church.She was a menber of the Salem Senior Center.
Survivors include son Melvin L. Pacheco of Keizer;daughter Pauline Hernandez of Albuquerque. N.M.; brothers Dick Fresquez of Picacho and Andrew Fresquez of Roswell; sister Elma Rogers of Albuquerque; and three grandchildren.Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. May 13.1992, in St. Vincent's Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 9:45 a.m. and Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 a.m.Interment will be in Belcrest Memorial Park in Salem.
