Leona was born in Crosstown,Ohio the daughter of the late Malinda (Linnie) Mae Balser Armstrong and Charles Estel Armstrong. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Chester Armstrong, Ernest Armstrong, and Robert Armstrong; and one sister, Elnora Dyer.
She is survived by her husband, James E. Jones of Mt. Orab; three daughters, Genevieve Dickson of Mt. Orab, Barbara Thackston of Westland, Mich., Donna Thompson of Taylor, Mich.; four sons, Carl Jones, Kenny Jones, Rick Jones, all of Mt. Orab, and Dennis Jones of Williamsburg; two sisters, Edna Armstrong of Maryland and Annabelle Yeazel of Mt. Orab; one brother, Elbert Armstrong of Englewood, Fla.; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
