Lillian Mary Priest Williams died peacefully on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at her home in Provo, UT of Causes Incident to Age and complications after breaking her hip.

She was born February 3, 1913, in Taylor, Idaho to James Michael Priest and Minnie Elizabeth Wadsworth Priest. She grew up in Taylor, Idaho. She married Thomas Hughes Williams on April 17, 1929. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Cardston Alberta Temple. They were blessed with a family of nine children. Darla Lake, Thomas Edmund, James R, Lennis Boyd, Ray L, Dawna M, David M, Ella Mae Whitlock and Lyle M. Lillian loved serving others, lifting up the hands that hung down. She was a rescuer, showering her love, her good humor and bits of wisdom on those around her, lifting them up from whatever their circumstances and encouraging them to move forward making each day a better day. She served faithfully in all her many church callings and served a mission with her husband to Raleigh South Carolina Mission. She planted and cared for a small vegetable garden which she shared with many. She was very proud of her children and loved spending time with her 46 grandchildren, 137 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She was kind, a great cook and a wonderful hostess, making you feel that you were so important to her, wanting to hear all your news. Her children were devoted to her and referred to her as their angel mother. She learned her ancestry and loved to tell many stories about her family pioneers and her early years growing up in Idaho.

Preceded in death by her husband Thomas, her daughter Darla, her parents James and Minnie, her sisters Velma, Ruby and Lucile, and her brothers Merle and Buster, and one grand child Thomas son of Ray L.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2008 at the Provo Peak 5th Ward Chapel at 600 East and 700 North, Provo, UT. Family and Friends can call at the Provo Peak 5th Ward House from 9:30-10:30 a.m., prior to the Service.
Interment will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at the Shelton Cemetery near Ririe, Idaho at 1:00 p.m.
