Kennard Man, 45, Died Tuesday
John Henry Waltke, a resident of Kennard, died Tuesday following a brief illness. Mr. Waltke was employed in construction work, most of which were highway paving projects.
He was born at Adams, Nebraska, October 16, 1925 and was, therefore, 45 years of age at his death.
He is survived by his wife, Delores and by four young daughters, Norma, Joyce, Denise and Jane. A brother, George lives at Kennard and a brother William lives at Pickrell, Nebraska. A sister, Mrs. Christina Gerd, resides at Cortland, Nebraska.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 P.M. at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard with the Rev. Arden Dorn conducting the service. Burial will be made in the Kennard Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home of Blair.
