Christina was born on March 31, 1923 at rural Firth, Nebraska to Henry and Katie (Jauken) Waltke.
She grew up in the Firth area and attended Littlejohn Country School of rural Adams, Nebraska.
Christina married Gerd Aden on February 2, 1941 at Zion Lutheran Church of rural Pickrell, Nebraska. They were blessed with four children.
After their marriage, Christina and Gerd moved to a farm northeast of Pickrell, where they lived for 29 years. In 1970, they built a house in Cortland, Nebraska.
Sadly, Gerd died May 11, 1993.
Christina continued living in Cortland until moving into Firth.
Since 2012 Christina has been a resident of the Gold Crest Retirement Center in Adams, Nebraska.
She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church of rural Pickrell where she was baptized and confirmed.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of rural Pickrell where she was a member of the Ladies Aid.
She was a past member of Beatrice Quilter’s Guild, the Bag Ladies of Beatrice (quilting group) and member of the Firth Senior Center. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, and baking.

Left to cherish her memory are: son, Ronny Aden of Cortland; daughter-in-law, Susan Aden of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; son, Kermith (Sharon) Aden of Johnstown, Colorado; daughter, Roxie (Glen) Rosenthal of Lincoln, NE; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Arthur Aden; daughters-in-law, Karen Aden and Carol Aden; three brothers William, George and John Waltke.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Christ Lutheran Church of rural Pickrell with Pastor Heather Brown officiating. Burial will be at the Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery. A family prayer service will be held at 10:15 A.M. Wednesday at the church. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home in Beatrice, Nebraska on Tuesday from 8 am to 9 pm.
