Died, on December 7 at 6:30 o’clock, Mrs. Anna Johnson, after about six weeks of suffering, aged 52 years, 9 months and 16 days. She leaves two girls and one boy and a loving husband to mourn her death. Harry and Amanda live at home and Olivia Sorensen lives in this neighborhood.

Ye scribe extends his sympathy to the bereaved husband and children in this sad hour of affliction. The funeral services will be held at the M.E. church on Wednesday, December 10, and burial will be in the Kennard cemetery.

Mrs. Ola Johnson, who has been sick so long, passed away last Sunday morning at the family home. Anna Nelson was born in Skona, Sweden, January 23, 1861 and came to America on April 11, 1885. She was married to Ola Johnson, of Omaha, March 16, 1888. To this union was born three children, two girls and one boy namely, Alma Olevia, Harry Theodore and Mrs. Amanda Sorensen, all of whom with the husband survive her, also three sisters and one brother. Mrs. Johnson was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church in Sweden. She died peacefully at her home Sunday morning Dec. 7 at 7:30, at the age of 51 years, 10 months and 16 days. The funeral service was held at the Methodist church in Kennard this afternoon at 2 o'clock, A.B. Grossman, the pastor officiating. Mr. Johnson and his family are well known here and have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their sorrow.
