Miss Lena Bates Died Sunday Services Tuesday
Funeral services will be held Thursday for Miss Lena Bates, 77 years of age, who died Sunday at the Good Shepherd Home.
The services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Kennard Methodist Church, the Rev. Samuel Hemphill officiating with interment in Kennard Cemetery.
Miss Bates was born July 5, 1837 at Kennard, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bates.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Agnes Rosenbaum, of Kennard.
Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
