LOWELLVILLE- Mrs. Fred E. Lasher, 43, of Meadowmist Road, Pulaski RD 1, died at her home at 1:30 p.m. yesterday after an illness of the past four years. She was born Nov. 16, 1927 in Armstrong County, Pa, to Louis W. and Faye Hill Smith. She moved to the Pulaski Area in 1957. Mrs. Lasher attended Lowellville Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Fred E. Lasher, Whom she married Nov. 25, 1948; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis W. Hill of Kittanning RD 1; a sister, Mrs. William Calhoun of St. Petersburg, Fla., and two brothers, William D. Smith and Howard B. Smith of Kittanning RD 5. Friends will be received at the Cunningham Funeral Home, Lowellville Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Salem United Church of Christ (Hill Church), Kittanning RD 5, where friends will be received from 1 p.m. on Saturday. Burial will be in the Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery, Kittanning RD 5.
