The body of Mrs. Elbert Saeger, who died in Chicago Thursday night of last week, was brought to Mulberry Saturday by M. E. Kleinsmith. Services were conducted at the Kleinsmith Funeral Home by the Rev. H. J. Currens and the Rev. Isaiah Whitman at 10 a. m. Monday. Burial was held Wednesday, having been postponed to await the arrival of the son Maurice, with the U. S. Marines. However, the son did not arrive in time for the burial.

Mrs. Saeger was born Bernice Slaybaugh in Brookston, Ind., Oct. 25, 1902, and was married to Mr. Saeger Oct. 30, 1923. Besides the husband and son, two sisters and three brothers survive.
