CARROLLTON - Funeral services for Samuel E. Brown, 78, a retired farmer who died Wednesday at Greenwood Leflore Hospital, were held today at 2 p.m. at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lorena G. Brown; four sons, Alton Brown of Greenwood, Noble Brown of Winona, Eldred Brown and Garrard Brown, both of Carrollton; one daughter, Gloria Moore of Carrollton; one brother, Vance Brown of Greenwood; and 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Mount Pisgah Church cemetery.
National Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
