Mrs. Katherine Yanda
__Mrs. Katherine Yanda died very suddenly early yesterday morning at her home 1503 L street west. Her death resulted from an (ex-ophtalmic ?) goitre, with which she had suffered for a long time. Heart trouble also contributed to her sudden expiration.
__Mrs. Yanda was an aged lady being about sixty. She suffered with the goitre for many years. Early this morning her son went to work early and looked into her bed room. She appeared to be sleeping peacefully, and her death was not discovered until later. She leaves six children, five sons and one daughter. The funeral arrangements have not been arranged and will be announced later.
__Mrs. Yanda leaves six children to mourn her loss. They are Mrs. Jennie Smylie, Frank, Edward, Wilfred, Wesley, all of this city and Joseph of Charlotte, Iowa. Mrs. Yanda was born in Bohemia. She came to this country when young and resided since then in Cedar Rapids.
__The funeral will be held Monday afternoon. Services will be conduct-
ed at the residence, 1503 L street, west. The interment will be in Linwood cemetery.
