Brenda Morgan Crews, 62 of Nahunta, GA died Friday evening (Jan. 25, 2008) at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick, (Glynn Co) GA.
Born in Brantley Co, GA, her parents were Emory Holton and Ruby Jeanette Crews Morgan.
Brenda worked for Brantley County Health Office as a Registered Nurse for 18 years. She loved taking care of others, cooking, baking and selling cakes. She was a member of Raybon Advent Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Benny Crews of Nahunta, GA; a daughter, Camille Harris; 2 Sons and daughters-in-law; Emory & Brea Crews of Nahunta, GA and Darren & Clarissa Crews of Hickox, GA; a Sister and Brother-in-law, Sandra and Richard Howard of Johnson, S.C.; Mother-in-law, Laveta Manor of Hickox, GA; 6 Grandchildren, Holt Crews (Jamie), Benley Harris, Amory and Greyson Crews, Taylor and Amelia Crews; 2 Great Grandchildren, Lindsay and Hudson Crews; Several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Sunday evening starting at 6 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon (Jan. 28,2008) at 2 p.m. from Chambless-Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Jacobs, Rev. E. C. Crews, Rev. Ion Johns, Rev. Paul Rhoden and Rev. Randy Wainright officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Raybon.
Pallbearers will be Jay Ham, Kippy Ham, Tim Woodard, Jim Woodard, Chance Rhoden and Ryan Chesser.
