A lifelong resident of Brantley County, Mrs. Morgan was the daughter of the late Riley "Coot" Crews and Pearl Harris Crews and the widow of Emory Holton Morgan. She was a member of the Christian Community Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Howard (Richard) and Mrs. Brenda Crews (Bennie), both of Nahunta.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the chapel of the Chambless Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Jacobs officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ronald Sharpe, the Rev. E. C. Crews and the Rev. James Young.
Interment followed in the family plot at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Serving as casketbearers were nephews, Mikel Crews, Odie Crews, Lee Roy Ham, Allison Lee, Claude A. Smith and Raymond Willis.
