Robert Allen, known as "Bob," died at the age of 80, at a local Hospital, due to complications of Parkinsons Disease. Born and raised in Bowdoinham, Maine, the son of Elizabeth (Bell) Allen and Lithen Allen. He was one of 13 siblings. He served in the Marines for 6 years. He moved to the Bay County, Florida area in 1977. He was a retired Police Officer from the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington D.C. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon Emeritus and a member of the LLL Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Lithen Allen, and a son, Jeffrey Erland Allen, a brother, Herbert Allen, and a sister, Helen Hanson. He is survived by: His wife, Mavis Allen, of Panama City, Florida, and a son, Timothy Allen, of Panama City, Florida, 8 sisters, Fannie Hanson, Rose Almy, Lillian Walker, Betty Brown, Marilyn Haskell, Madeline Allen, Lorraine Allen, and Carolyn Hartill, plus two brothers, Wilbur Allen and Charles Allen, all from Maine.
