Harley Davis
Hereford Harley Davis, 60, died Tuesday.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Manning, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating, assisted by John Johns, pastor. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Mr. Davis was born at Perryton and had been a resident of Hereford since 1957. He was a member of Avenue Baptist Church and was self-employed.
He married Estelle McBroom in 1939.
Survivors include the widow; one son, Gus of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Jean Collier and Miss Rochelle Davis, both of Hereford, Mrs. Jimmy Middleton of Dawn and Mrs. Mollie Scott of Dimmitt; two brothers, Abe of Hereford and Sid of Buckeye, Ariz.; four sisters, Mrs. Mable Yocum of Hereford, Mrs. Peggy Mayes of Albuquerque, Mrs. Joy Gazzaway of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Ruth Schofield of Amarillo; and 11 grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to American Cancer Society of the Texas Heart Fund.
