Jimmie Estelle Middleton, 69, longtime Hereford resident, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Hereford Regional Medical Center.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11:00 am, Friday, May 1, 2015 in Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories. Rev. Danny Mize, Pastor of the Fellowship of Believers Church will officiate. Cremation and services are under the direction of Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, 411 E 6th Street, Hereford, Texas.
Jimmie was born February 20, 1946 in Amarillo, Texas, to Harley Earl Davis, Sr. and Estelle Ailene (McBroom) Davis.
She moved to Hereford from Amarillo in 1956. On May 16, 1964 she married Don Ed Middleton in Hereford.
Jimmie was a Baptist and Christian by faith. She attended the Fellowship of Believers Church. Jimmie LOVED her Lord and family with all her heart. She liked to travel with her sisters, gardening, spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters and a host of many friends. Her favorite holiday was Easter.
Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Ed Middleton; 1 sister, Eugenia Ann Burnam and 1 brother, Harley Earl Davis, Jr.
Survivors include 1 daughter, Kathy Middleton of Hereford; 1 son, Max Middleton and wife Kim of Hereford; 2 sisters, Molly Scott and husband Ben of Dimmitt, Rochelle Hutcherson of Dumas; 1 brother, Gus Davis of Hereford; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren with 1 “on-the-way”, several nieces and nephews and a host of many lifelong friends.
