Chico Record, Sunday Morning, October 8, 1916, pg 8 col 1: Thomas Pritchard, 75, Passes Away. Thomas Pritchard, seventy-five years old, a native of Canada, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.A. Wright, on Lone Pine avenue, yesterday morning.

Deceased was widely known in Chico. He was a prominent member of Halleck Post, G.A.R. Surviving are one son, Norris Pritchard of Manton, and the following daughters: Mrs. R.P. Cunningham of Millville, Mrs. William A. Wright of Chico, Mrs. L.C. Smith of Madeline, Mrs. L.F. Howard of Modesto, Mrs. F.H. Myers of Red Bluff. One sister, Mrs. Rachael Woolley of Modesto, also survives. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

Chico Record, Tuesday Morning, October 10, 1916, pg 8 col 1: Thomas Pritchard To Be Burial This Morning. Funeral services for Thomas Pritchard, who died Saturday, will be held this morning at 10 o'clock at the home of W.E. Wright on Lone Pine avenue. Rev. E.H. Smith of the Fourth Street Methodist church will conduct the services at the home, while the G.A.R., of which deceased was a member, will conduct services at the grave.

Interment took place at Chico Cemetery on Oct 10, 1916, per CCA records.
