He was the husband of Mary Schlasman Klopp and the father of Frederick Klopp (01/23/1919-10/1997 in NC). He was the brother of Dr. John Adam Klopp, Samuel P. Klopp, Minerva Mary Klopp Boeshore, Almeda Liza Klopp Winter, Albert Clayton Klopp, Sylvester Benneville Klopp, Kathryn Elnora Klopp, William Josiah Klopp, and Sylvanus Isaiah Andrew Klopp. He was a descendant of Martinus Walborn, Sr., his third great grandfather and a soldier of the American Revolution.
