JOHN HENNING OF NEAR
LORAINE LAID TO REST
THIS AFTERNOON.
Loraine, June 8.—John Henning, a middle aged farmer, living five miles east of Loraine, died about 3 o’clock Tuesday morning after an illness of only a few days, being taken sick last Thursday morning with a heavy cold. Mr. Henning was a member of the Adams County Mutual lodge, also of the Woodman, who had charge of the funeral, which was held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Union church, near his home, conducted by Rev. C. F. Stecher of the M. E. church of Camp Point. Mr. Henning leaves a wife and four children, namely, William, Edward and Mabel at home, and Mrs. Henry Evans, near Coatsburg. The family have the sympathy of the community in the loss of a loving husband and father. Mr. Henning was a good neighbor and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
