Sallie and Elmer married November 20, 1932 in Melvin, TX.
Children: Evelyn Jo Ann, Lillian Renee Kay, Lenore Lee, Vivian Ellen Fay, Paula Jane and James Monroe
Their last home was in Taylor,Texas.
Sallie was a home maker and hand crafted gifts for family and friends.

Every year Grandmother would make out a Christmas list with all of her children, grandchildren, and great granndchildren. She would plan, make & sew, buy, wrap, and send out all of the gifts to everyone. Her list was very long...........She never missed a child or a year! She loved playing dominoes with the family, shopping, build furniture, take rides in the country, and eating a nice meal together. She made the best Red Eyed Gravy in Texas for biscuts in the morning.Grandmother spent her life seeking the Lord, she read her bible daily and spent time with the Lord daily.Grandmother loved to draw. She made many Bible book markers for her children and grandchildren to put in our bibles. I have wonderful memories of sitting with her in church singing praises to God.She had colorful scarfs, which I cherish and pull out to put on my head from time to time. She is so loved by all of her family.

Love,
