Mr. Eugene Patterson, age 86, native and lifelong resident of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2004 in Union General Hospital in Blairsville.
Mr. Patterson was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Thornley, and a son, Bobby Patterson.
Surviving are his wife, Daisy Mae Patterson, of Blairsville; daughters: Betty Hooper, of Blairsville; Donna Rowland, of Blairsville; sons: Charles Raymond Patterson, of McDonough, GA; James Patterson, of Stark, Florida; Larry Patterson, of Blairsville; and Arnold Patterson, also of Blairsville; two sisters: Ruth Patterson and Geneva Hook, both of Blairsville; Nineteen grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren also survive, along with many friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, may 5, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Loys Waters and Rev. Waymon Lovell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. on Monday, may 3, 2004.
Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville was entrusted by the family for the arrangements.
