Betty Patterson Hooper, age 67, of Blairsville, passed away on Monday night, July 10, 2017, in Pruitt Healthcare in Blue Ridge.
Betty was born in Young Harris, Georgia, and was a daughter of the late Eugene and the late Daisy Patterson. Betty was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, and joined as a teenager. Betty will be remembered as being a strong and courageous woman, with a positive attitude, always looking and finding the good in things. She loved playing with kids and loved reading. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Martin Thornley; two brothers: Bobby Patterson and James Patterson; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Patterson.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, July 14, 2017, at 3:00 p.m., to be held at Bethlehem Baptist Chuch. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
