William H. "Bill" Eskridge was the son of Christopher Lemuel Eskridge and Kitty Ann Beauchamp of Grayson County, Kentucky. He was born in 1864. He was the husband of Caroline M. Beauchamp, the daughter of Bluford Beauchamp and Mary "Polly" Gaither. William H. Eskridge died August 30, 1931 in Grayson County, Kentucky. He was buried in the Eskridge Cemetery on Highway 79 beside his wife Caroline who predeceased him in death in 1929. This cemetery is located near the Falls of Rough Dam in the bend of the Rough River.
