Alvina Rosenbaum, 95, of Blair, died Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at Good Shepherd Home in Blair.
Services were 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 23, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home Chapel.
Burial was in the Kennard Cemetery.
Alvina Rosenbaum was born June 11, 1904, to Peter Kroigaard and Bertha (Rasmussen) Nelson in Blair.
She was baptized on July 15, 1906, in the Scandinavian Lutheran Church in Orum and was confirmed on May 9, 1920, in the Danish Lutheran Church in Blair.
She attended school in Blair and graduated from Blair High School in 1922.
On November 8, 1933, she married Roscoe Rosenbaum of Kennard.
The couple farmed in Washington County before moving to Fremont where they lived for several years.
After the death of her husband in 1972, she returned to Blair. On Nov 16, 1990, she began her residency at Good Shepherd Home.
She is survived by one sister, Eleanor K. Jensen of Lincoln; one brother-in-law, Tom Wilkinson of Lincoln; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four sisters, Hanna Kuhr, Annie Hansen, Helen Woodard, and Claire Wilkinson; and two brothers, Hans K. Nelson and George K. Nelson.
Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Chapel Fund or to a place of choice.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair was in charge of arrangements.
