Funeral services for Hans Kruger Nelson, 80, were held in Omaha on Tuesday, January 16th. Mr. Nelson was born and raised in the Blair community, the son of a pioneer couple, the Peter K. Nelson's.


He served in the Army in World War I.


His adult life was spent in Omaha, where he was a member of a printing firm.


He was married to Mary Flynn, who died in 1975.


Left to honor his memory are 2 sons: Peter K. of San Francisco, California; Joseph K. of Omaha; one daughter, Mary K. (Mrs. Patrick Kieny) of Omaha; 13 grandchildren; 3 sisters: Eleanor Jensen, Lincoln; Alvina Rosenbaum, Blair; Claire Wilkinson of Winter Haven, Florida; one brother, George of Millard, Nebraska.
