Daughter of Joseph Mack and Mamie Hatchell Brown, wife of Maxcy Monroe Brown.

MULLINS - Mrs. Mary Kate Brown, 80, widow of Mack M. Brown, died Monday in a Marion hospital. Born in Marion County, she was a daughter of Joseph Mack and Mamie Hatchell Brown.

Surviving are five sons, Earl Brown of Ann Arbor, Mich., Harry Brown of Jacksonville, Fla., Ray Brown of Baltimore, Md., Frank Brown of Columbia and Bobby Brown of Mullins; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Sizemore of Birmingham, Ala. and Mrs. Virigina Hodges of Dillon; five sisters, Mrs. Wilma Smith, Mrs. Sallie Gasque, Mrs. Ruth Smith and Mrs. Margaret Brown, all of Mullins, and Mrs. Vashti Clemons of North Augusta; a brother, Arthur Brown of Mullins; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Smith Brothers Funeral Home, with burial in New Life Cemetery.
