Betty was a resident of Fort Calhoun for over 70 years and was one of the founding member, since 1949, of the Fort Calhoun American Legion Auxiliary Unit 348 District 8.
Betty loved attending many of her grandchildrens school activites, She is every kids dream of a Grandma.
