Funeral services for Sylvester G. Loffer, 69 of Salina will be held Thursday, October 21st at 2 p.m. in the Smith Chapel under the direction of the Jones-Wilson-Cunningham Funeral Home. Reverend Bill Grass will officiate.
Mr. Loffer was born December 23, 1912 in Bruno, Arkansas. He married Ollie Belle Moore August 29, 1938 in Tahlequah. He worked as a farmer and stockman and had lived in the area 43 years. He died Tuesday, October 19th in a Pryor hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Ollie of the home; one son, Sylvester Daniel Loffer of the home; two daughters, Dorothy Price of Rose, Oklahoma and Judy Spurgeon of Locust Grove; one brother Lonnie Loffer of Chouteau; one sister, Velma Biggs of Santa Rosa, California and eight grandchildren.
