She was born June 25, 1917, in Clay City, the daughter of Curtis and Floy Henderson. She married James Lowell Padgett in 1939; he survives.
Also surviving are three sons, James M. Padgett, Patrick Padgett and Jeffrey Padgett; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Mrs. Padgett was a homemaker and school teacher. She and her husband were former owners of the Easley and Padgett Furniture Store in Clay City. She was a member of the Clay City Methodist Church.
June enjoyed golfing with the ladies at the Flora Country Club in the past years.
The funeral was held at the Clay City Methodist Church.
Burial was in Clay City Cemetery.
