Daniel Henry Richardson was the son of William Henry Richardson and Nancy Margaret Shupe Richardson. He was born in Tennessee, and migrated to Texas before the turn of the century with his family. He married Ida Alice Shook, and they had 6 children together, Lee, Henry Albert, Mable Maybell, Raymond, Griffen, and Carl. "Doc" Richardson was a farmer for most of his life. He and his wife left a wonderful family legacy with many descendants in the Ellis Co., Texas. Obituary Dallas Morning News:

Henry Richardson-Ennis, Texas. (Sp.) Henry Richardson, 83, resident of the Ennis area for more than 60 years, died at a hospital here Friday.

He was a retired farmer. He was born in Warren County, Tenn. He came to Texas as a child and lived in Bell County for a number of years.

Survivors incllude his wife, three sons, Albert Richardson of Ennis, Raymond Richardson of Houston, and Griffin Richardson of Franklin; one daughter, Mrs. R.A. Garrett of Ennis; a sister Mrs. Maggie Shook of Temple; 21 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Keever Chapel. Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery here.
