Ruth I. Templin, 62, Elizabethtown R2, died Sunday morning at the Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg after an illness of several weeks. Born in Conewago Township, she was the daughter of the l ate John K. and Lizzie Baum Longenecker. She was the wife o f LeRoy G. Templin. Until recently, she served as a Democratic committeewoman in Dauphin County. Besides her husband, surviving are two sons; Gary L. Sr., Elizabethtown R2; LeRoy Jr., Elizabethtown; four daughters; Shirley Kearns, Leesburg, Fl.; Stella, wife of Eugene R. Roeting, Elizabethtown; Patricia A., wife of Jacob A. Shank, Elizabethtown R2; and Barbara J., wife of William A. Phillips, Middletown; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, John Longenecker, Elizabethtown; and one sister, Katie Wells, Elizabethtown. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Frank S. Miller Funeral Home, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, Pa., on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John P. Ludwig , Jr., officiating. Interment in Shenks Cemetery.
