Barbara J. Phillips, 49, of 1205 S. 28th St., Harrisburg, formerly of Elizabethtown, died early Monday morning December 8, 2003 at Hershey Medical Center after a long illness. A homemaker, Mrs. Phillips worked for the former Hershey Motor Lodge and as a nurse's assistant. She enjoyed ceramics and making other crafts. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy G . Sr. and Ruth I. Longenecker Templin. Surviving are a son, Timothy S., married to Melissa Lefever of Harrisburg; a daughter, Wendy K. Lefever of Hummelstown; four grandchildren; two brothers, LeRoy G. Jr., marrie d to Gloria Templin, and Gary L. Sr., married to Chickie M. Templin, both of Elizabethtown; and two sisters, Stella E., married to Eugene R. Roeting, and Patricia A., married to Jacob A. Shank, both of Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris A. Franks and Shirley L. Kearns. [Lancaster Intelligencer Journal]
