(Born sometime between 1838 & 1845, but ca. 1841 seems the most probable).

Son of:
Robert C. Goldsborough Sr. and
Mary Ann Winrow.

Husband of:
1) Ruth _______ and
2) Abigail "Abbie" / "Abby" Still (who later married Charles Hill after William's death).

Civil War veteran of Company H*, 22nd Pennsylvania Infantry, aka the 22nd U.S. Colored Infantry.

*While his headstone lists him as being in Company F, all of his pension records list him as being in Company H, except for one which has an "F" which was crossed out and an "H" written next to it. It is likely that he may have originally/briefly been in Company F before being transferred into Company H.
