Martin was the son of Oliver and Aleda Montgomery and the brother of Ken and Robert. Martin had distinctive physical characteristics as he was an albino, and as a teenager he lost his hand in an accident, but he conquered the obstacles that those presented. He played a special musical instrument that he designed and he became an expert at fixing electronics of all kinds. He died of a massive heart attack.
