Madge was born in Newberne, Gilmer County WV and married Michael Steven Sokolosky in April 20, 1953 in Liberty TX. They later moved to Monahans TX where she was a homemaker. They had no children.
I spent a month with Uncle Mike and Aunt Madge in the summers of 1967 and 1969. I had a wonderful time exploring Monahans and playing with the kids near their home on S Franklin St. Uncle Mike had a dune buggy and we would go racing around the desert and dirt roads near Monahans. They were both wonderful people and I sure wish they lived closer so that I could have visited more often.
