OBIT:

George Watts, 75, for many years a horseshoer in this city, died Friday night at the home of his son, Vincent Watts, Cascade Way. He had lived in Ellensburg since 1905.

Mr. Watts was born in Cork County, Ireland and came to this country at the age of 11 years by stowing away on a ship, his son reported.

He was a horsehoer by trade and for many years operated a shop at Sixth Avenue and Main Street. He sold the shop in 1917 and since had engaged in general blacksmithing work.

Besides his son Vincent, he is survived by three daughters, Virginia Lundsrom, and Mary DeBolt, both of Ellensburg and Agnes Kuske of Seattle, three grandsons, nine granddaughters and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Honeycutt-Evenson Chapel.
