Funeral services for Mrs. Lelia Alsbrooks Fuller Branch, 84, of Sterlington, LA, will be at 4:00 PM, Sunday, May 7, 2006, at College Place Baptist Church, with Rev. Jimmy Pitson and Bro. Jamie Orten officiating. Burial will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mrs. Branch, a member of College Place Baptist Church, was born December 16, 1921, in Crew Lake, LA and died at home, May 5, 2006, in Sterlington, LA. She was a cosmetician at Dillard's and also a certified Dental Assistant.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Fuller; father of her children, Dent Branch; and grandson, Paul Alexander.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamelia Adriene Fuller Alexander and husband Larry of Pineville, LA and Carol Lynn Fuller Jones and husband William of Sterlington, LA; brother, Leonard Alsbrooks of Shallot, NC; seven grandchildren, Todd Jones and wife Penny, Stephen Jones and wife Kacey, Amy Roberts and husband Dierk, Lee Jones, Shawna Hubband and husband Don, LaShay White, and Ashley Alexander; seventeen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Emmitt "Peanuts" Gibbs, Dr. Bill Hughes, R.A. Hunter, Charles Page, Charles Chambers, and Elton Barrett. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Burns.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Any planned memorials may be made to Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, Monroe, LA.
