Catherine was a daughter of Gerhard and Catherine (Ferneding) Kettman. She was raised in the Templeton area and attended Sacred Heart School.
She married George Willenborg April 9, 1923 at Sacred Heart Church in Templeton.
The couple farmed east of Templeton the first years and then moved to a farm west of Dedham. They farmed until retiring in 1953, moving to Dedham.
They were parents of four children: Emma, George, William and Betty.
