Anna, a daughter of Gerhard and Catherine (Ferneding) Kettmann, was born May 2, 1906, on the family farm in Carroll County. She attended Sacred Heart School in Templeton. She remained on the farm with her parents and brother, George, and also worked out in the homes of other families. In 1970 Anna and her brother George moved into Templeton. George died in 1975 and Anna remained in their home.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Templeton, the Ladies Guild and a 55 year member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She enjoyed raising flowers, sewing, baking, and playing cards. When her health began to fail, she entered the Manning Plaza Nursing Home in December of 1993.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and all of her siblings, George Kettmann, Kate Willenborg, Mayme Willenborg, Emma Kettmann, and Elsie Kalkhoff.
Kettmann is survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
