June Park Lovell Price, age 78 of Rigby passed away on January 21, 2016 at her home.
June was born June 28, 1937, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, daughter of Clarence William Park and Emma Vera Hatfield Park. She grew up near Ririe, Idaho and attended school there. After having a family she went back to school to earn her GED in 1984, at EITC.
June married David E. Lovell on June 12, 1953 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They were later divorced. June worked at Deseret Industries, Ririe schools, Maverick Country Store, and as a tutor at EITC. June married Fred Price on February 4, 1989. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving faithfully in the Primary, Relief Society, and scouting programs. June and Fred enjoyed going on long drives, fishing and camping. They also loved to sit on the couch and hold hands while they watched old western movies that played late at night. They took great care of each other. June enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and having lunch with her high school friends once a month. We really appreciate all that June has done for us. She was always kind and had a fun sense of humor.
June is survived by her husband of 27 years, Fred Price of Rigby, children; Larry (Cathy) Lovell of Ririe, D. Wayne (Pat) Lovell of Redlands, California, Steven (Inge) Lovell, Dena (Jeffery) Norman, Mike (KayLyn) Lovell, and Bryan Lovell all of Idaho Falls; her step-children whom she loved as her own, Lynn (Vicki) Price, Rick (Rhonda) Price, Carla (Jody) Schmardebek and Travis (Suzi) Price, all of Rigby. Sisters; Phyllis (Zane) Radford of Rigby, LuAnn Hjelm of Basalt, Delene (Lee) Malcom of Shelley. Brothers; Boyd (Delores) Park of Puhrump, Nevada, Kendal (Joann) Park, and Lynn (Lynae) Park of Ririe. Sister in Laws; Carol Swainstain, of Preston and Delores Park of Ririe. She and Fred have 33 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Dee Anne Lovell Summers, and siblings Venna Homberg, Eugene Park, Arlen Park, Keith Park and Ronald Park.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Ririe L.D.S. Stake Center on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. The family will visit with friends on Monday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. both at the stake center. Burial will be in the Ririe – Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
