LONGTIME AREA RESIDENT DIES

RIRIE, July 1--Clarence William Park, 66, an area resident since 1910, died Tuesday in an Idaho Falls hospital following a heart attack. He was a farmer in the Ririe area.

He was born July 31, 1887, at Fairfield, Utah to Andrew Findley and Annie Young Park. He married Emma Zera Hatfield December 17, 1925, in Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He was active in the LDS Church, serving as secretary in the High Priests Quorum and was a home teacher.

Survivors are his widow; six sons and five daughters, Venna Joy Park, Wugene William Park, Keith Warren Park, Mrs. David (June) Lovell, Hendell Ward Park and Robert L Park, all of Ririe; Max Arlen Park, Pocatello; Mrs. Zane (Phyliis) Radford, Whittier, California; Mrs. Dennis (Lue Ann) Hjelm, Basalt; Boyd Kent Park, Prescott, Arizona and Mrs. Lee (DeLene) Malcorn, Lincoln; 27 grandchildren, five brothers and sisters, Mrs. Albert (Elizabeth) Perry, Leonard G. Park, both of Idaho Falls; Vernal G. Park, Draper, Utah; Mrs. James (Leah) Durrant, Ririe; Mrs. H. M. (Cora) Brown, Rexburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in the Ririe LDS First Ward Chapel by Bishop Earl Hunter. Interment will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery directed by Eckersell Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and Friday from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.
